...love story

rose + jesse

we met in college, the year was 2001... fast forward six years later and we went on our first date, which happened to be before we actually started dating... the plan was to go see the spelling bee, a musical on broadway, but jesse was late and we missed the show... we ended up having a four hour dinner date on 42nd st., an unforgettable stroll through the city and a surprising first kiss. we didn't start dating until a week later when jesse (the modern day romeo that he is) sent a text on july 7, 2007 making it official and since then it's all seemed so natural... jesse got on one knee on the evening of December 6, 2008 and proposed... we were married the evening of september 26, 2009 at new jerusalem baptist church... afterwards we danced the night away at winfield scott ballrooms... we spent our honeymoon in the beautiful island of antigua and a year later continued our celebration in st. maarten... we have big plans for the future ahead... so here's to the beginning of forever...

I got your back...

...fav Super Bowl commercial. [I laughed out loud :)]

To Do...

It's February and I've made no type of headway with my original to do list. I'm going to do the responsible thing and blame it on how bad the weather's been [because its been horrible]. I'm seriously suffering from the worst case of cabin fever.

Although I haven't done a thing on my original list, I have managed to add more things to the list :)

1. Get a Library Card! I haven't had one since junior high/high school. [sad] The internet is seriously evil.

2. Make more memorable videos. I came across some home videos I made during Christmas 2009.. and at the time they were silly... but now, they are priceless.

Ain't No Need To Go Outside

Because I love to lay here lazy
We could close the curtains
Pretend like there's no world outside
And we could pretend that all the time

Can't you see that it's just raining
There ain't no need to go outside...

...weather forecast calls for ice, sleet and rain all day today. I really don't need a groundhog to tell me what the rest of the Winter is going to be like.
